Shashikant C. Fadia, 82 years old, died peacefully in his hometown of Greece, NY on June 30th, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kokila, his two children, Kalpana (and her husband Raj) and Ajay (and his wife Jennifer), and his grandchildren, Rajesh, Sonia, Maxwell, and McKenzie as well as by five sisters (Saroj, Panna, Geeta, Trupti, and Leena), two brothers (Deepak and Sunil), and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his sister, Meena.

Shashikant came to the U.S. in 1959 from India to get his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois. For thirty years, he worked at Eastman Kodak until his retirement. His lifelong passion for investing was well known by friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3rd 2017 beginning at 10:30 am at the Metropolitan Funeral Chapels (109 West Avenue, Rochester, NY; 585-436-7730). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
