Obituary for Melvina "Mel" Johnson

North Chili, NY: went home peacefully to be with her loving husband, Monday October 30, 2017. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles E Johnson; parents John and Plessie Monroe, 8 siblings, 7 surviving siblings. Also survived by 6 children, 15 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was a long distance operator with Frontier Telephone (Rochester Telephone) retiring after 28 years.

Her celebration of life service will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at Power House Kingdom Cathedral, 48 Clifton St., Rochester, N.Y. 14608 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Funeral service directly following wake.
