Obituary for Pushpa Laroia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Pushpa Laroia, born on November 10, 1926, in Ludhiana, India. She was predeceased by her husband Yash Paul Laroia.

Pushpa was an affectionate lady who endeared herself to all who met her. She was a home maker, an excellent cook, and enjoyed the company of friends and family. She died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, with Rahul and Nirupama at her side.

She is survived by her daughter Kiran (Narinder) Marwah and son Rahul (Nirupama) Laroia; grandchildren Nitin Marwah, Ruchika (Samir) Khanna, Gaurav Laroia, and Asheesh Laroia; and great-grandchildren Ishan and Rayan Khanna.

Funeral services will be held starting at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, Metropolitan Funeral Home, 109 West Avenue, Rochester, NY. Her cremation will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Hope Crematory, 1133 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hindu Temple of Rochester, 120 Pinnacle Road, Pittsford, NY.
